Structure of instmc

The overall governance of the Institute is managed by the Board of Trustees, in line with the Royal Charter and Byelaws. The day to day management of the Institute is caried out by the Chief Executive.

The Council is made up of a mixture of Local Section chairs, and Ordinary Members elected from the Membership. The role of Council is to advise the Board, and to convey the views of the members to the Trustees.
