If you are an experienced engineer working within the functional safety or explosive atmospheres disciplines, the InstMC RFSE & RExE qualifications could be the right choice for you.
These professional level qualifications are aimed at those individuals that can demonstrate competence & commitment with a professional level of engagement within the relevant field. (They cannot be gained simply through attendance on a short course.) Registration as CEng with the Engineering Council UK is a pre-requisite in demonstration of professional standing and the acceptance of the corresponding obligations placed upon registrants.
Registered Functional Safety Engineer (RFSE)
The Register of Functional Safety Engineers is comprised of engineers who have, through peer review, satisfied the requirements for the InstMC qualification 'Registered Functional Safety Engineer'. These requirements include demonstration of competence and commitment. Successful applicants must agree to their identification on a public register maintained by the InstMC.

Registered Explosive Atmospheres Engineer (REXE)
