Assystem UK have developed a number of systems for high resolution non-contact surface metrology. The equipment is radiation tolerant, and well suited to being deployed in hard to reach areas – pipelines, tanks, vessels, waste stores etc. There are certainly lots of applications for the equipment, particularly in POCO and plant condition monitoring.
