Following the success of the Functional Safety Conference 2016 in London, we are taking the two-day event to Birchwood Conference Centre in Warrington. The conference aims to address the current challenges in the Functional Safety sector and discuss the latest developments.
It aims to engage practitioners from a wide variety of industrial sectors who have responsibilities in any functional safety lifecycle phase to provide a unique network forum for exchange of views and experiences.
With continuous changes and uncertainty in the world’s economy, together with a greater focus on regulatory requirements, functional safety has an ever growing importance in providing not only adequate control of risks but also helping to ensure maximum productivity. The conference will focus on how functional safety engineering, and functional safety standards, are adapting to meet these new challenges.
The conference will bring together the many and diverse disciplines engaged in functional safety with the aim of bringing people up to date with the standards, providing a platform for the presentation of new techniques and technology, and dissemination of valuable lessons learned from project experiences. It is envisaged the conference will be structured around four key topic areas with the use of specific “break out” sessions.
